Lecturer in the Food Science and Technology, Animal Science, and Veterinary Medicine courses. Also teaches in the postgraduate programs in Biotechnology Applied to Agriculture and Agronomy, both at UFRA (Federal Rural University of the Amazon).

Graduated in Food Engineering from the Federal University of Mato Grosso. Completed a master's and doctorate in Agricultural Microbiology at the Federal University of Lavras, developing studies in the area of ​​fermentations and the application of microorganisms in food processes, with an emphasis on the production of fermented beverages from sugarcane and pineapple juice and the application of microorganisms for coffee fermentation. She completed two postdoctoral fellowships at the Federal University of Lavras, the first between 2018 and 2019 (CNPq) focusing on coffee fermentation, and the second between 2020 and 2023 (CAPES) focusing on environmental and industrial microbiology.

Áreas de Interesse (áreas de interesse de ensino e pesquisa)

Her research interests include microbiology, biotechnology, fermentation processes, microorganism physiology, and prospecting for microorganisms in different systems of technological interest.
