THE PRESENT STUDY AIMS TO EVALUATE THE INFLUENCE OF SPERM KINETICS ON THE FERTILITY OF BUFFALOES SUBMITTED TO FTAI. 384 MULTIPAROUS BUFFALO COWS WILL BE USED WITH 30 TO 60 DAYS POSTPARTUM PREDOMINANTLY OF THE MURRAH BREED AND BODY SCORE 3.4±0.6. THE SYNCHRONIZATION PROTOCOL WILL BE IN D0, INTRAVAGINAL DEVICE 1G OF P4, APPLICATION OF 2.0MG OF BE AND ADMINISTRATION OF 10 ML OF INJECTABLE MINERAL SUPPLEMENTATION VIA I.M. ON D9 ALSO AT 4PM, THE DEVICE WILL BE REMOVED, APPLICATION OF 0.265 MG OF PGF2Α AND 300 IU OF ECG. ON D11 AT 4 PM IT WILL BE ADMINISTERED 0.1 MG OF GNRH. ON D12, 16 HOURS AFTER THE APPLICATION OF GNRH (8AM) THE ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION WILL BE PERFORMED. SEMEN OF 7 BULLS WILL BE EVALUATE, USED IN THE IATF, THROUGH COMPUTERIZED SEMEN ANALYSIS (HOUSE). 500 CELLS WILL BE ASSESSED IN EACH SAMPLE AND THE FOLLOWING VARIABLES WILL BE CONSIDERED: TOTAL MOTILITY (MT, %), PROGRESSIVE MOTILITY (MP, %), SPEED ALONG A MEDIUM PATH (VAP, ΜM/S), PROGRESSIVE SPEED (VSL, %), ΜM/S) CURVILINEAR SPEED (VCL, ΜM/S) AND PERCENTAGE OF FAST SPERM (RAP, %). THIS DATA WILL BE CORRELATED WITH THE PREGNANCY RATE OF BUFFALAS SUBMITTED TO IATF. DATA WILL BE ASSESSED THROUGH ANOVA AND PEARSON CORRELATION TEST, WITH 5% SIGNIFICANCE.
