TITLE:

Azospirillum brasilense And NITROGEN DOSES IN FORAGE SORO FOR SILAGE PRODUCTION

KEY WORDS:

Bolivian giant sorghum, inoculation;nitrogen fixing bacteria

PAGES: 29
BIG AREA: Ciências Agrárias
AREA: Zootecnia
SUMMARY:

The objective was to evaluate the inoculation of Azospirillum bacteria. Brazilian associated with
nitrogen fertilization on the agronomic and bromatological characteristics of sorghum
forage for silage production. A block design was used
randomized, in a 5x2 factorial scheme, composed of four nitrogen doses (0; 50;
100; 200; 400 kg ha -1 ) and the presence or absence of inoculation with A. brasilense with
four repetitions. Plant height (AltP), stem diameter (DC),
first cycle productivity (PRODC); regrowth productivity (ProdR),
total productivity (ProdT), dry matter (DM), ash, crude protein (CP), fiber in
neutral detergent (NDF), acid detergent fiber (ADF), pH, ammonia nitrogen
(N-NH 3 ), organic acids (LAC, ACE and BUT), in vitro digestibility (DIVMS),
in vitro neutral detergent fiber (DIVFDN) digestibility, matter recovery
(RMS) and total digestible nutrients (NDT). No interaction was detected between the
inoculation and nitrogen fertilization for (AltP), (DC), (ProdR) and (ProdT). Were
isolated effects of nitrogen fertilization were observed for AltPp and DC, with AltP
higher at the dose of 200 kg N.ha -1 and from the dose of 50 kg N.ha -1 there was a higher CO
of sorghum plants. Interaction between inoculation and fertilization was observed
nitrogen for productivity in the first cycle (ProdC), with nitrogen from
200 and 400 kg N.ha -1 showed lower values with inoculation. Sorghum ProdT
was lower when inoculation was used. No interaction was observed for MS, PB,
FDN, FDA, DIVMS, DIVFDN, RMS and NDT. Only the MM showed interaction. O
CP content showed an isolated effect of inoculation and nitrogen fertilization, increasing
the CP contents. NDF and FDA would differ with inoculant use. It was observed
isolated effect of nitrogen fertilization on IVDM. No effects were observed
for RMS, DIVFDN and NDT. For the fermentation parameters of sorghum silage, no
interaction was observed for pH, ACE and BUT. Only LAC and N-NH3 showed
interaction, where inoculation and nitrogen doses indicate that the supply of
nitrogen promotes beneficial effects on lactate concentration, however, the same
association increases the levels of N-NH 3 . An isolated effect of fertilization was observed
nitrogen over ACE and BUT.
