RESUMO:

The main objective is to evaluate the potential of the açaí seed as a moisture sequestering additive in the Mombasa grass silage and to verify its efficiency in animal nutrition. During the course of the project, the following hypotheses will be tested: a) Açaí stone is a silage moisture sequestering additive and when used produces quality silage. One experiment was carried out, namely: Evaluation of the inclusion of the açaí stone in the fermentation quality of the silage; The experiment was conducted at the Federal Rural University of Amazonia - UFRA, Parauapebas Campus, Parauapebas - Pará - Brazil.
