SUMMARY:

The risks that global warming brings to humanity require studies that improve the understanding of how the various sectors contribute to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to the atmosphere. Here, we evaluate dwell on the effect of land use changes on GHG emissions associated with increased soil temperature and n. further input, we also raise, through literature review, the main ghg emission routes. The results show that the evaluated systems behave as emitters of nitrous oxide (N2O) and methane consumers (CH4), in addition, the increase in soil temperature also boosted N2O emissions and CH4 consumption. The n input results have not yet been entered for this qualification. The emission behaviors found in controlled incubations are similar to behaviors observed in studies extracted from the review, thus being possible to sustain the hypotheses raised.
