SUMMARY:

The application of activities contemplating One Health is imperative in our daily life as a way of balancing the planet due to the various forms of life that cohabit and that present interdependent relationships. In the Amazon region, considered a strategic ecosystem for humanity, these activities are of importance and urgency, since its territorial extension often makes access to technologies and services that could improve the reality of communities that are located far from urban centers difficult. . Environmental protection areas (APA) are often affected by the particularities that guide human interventions and their consequences, such as the inclusion of dogs and cats in these environments without proper health care, which may cause the development of zoonoses or other problems. public health, mitigating natural resources and unbalancing these ecosystems. The objective of our research was to evaluate the impact of domestic animals in a Conservation Unit on Ilha de Algodoal, State of Pará, Brazil, where 208
animals were vaccinated, 138 dogs and cats were dewormed, 237 animals were castrated, 53 samples were collected for research. on vector diseases in these animals and human activity where educational activities were carried out and 113 residents were interviewed, tutoring 303 dogs and cats and observing the notification of the municipality with 91% of diseases related to anti-rabies care, demonstrating a clear imbalance in the human-animal interface in the region. Data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel 2007 software.
