In regions of great extension and floristic complexity, such as the Amazon, knowing the composition and distribution of plant species is essential to efficiently plan their management and conservation. A considerable part of the Amazon biome still needs studies that generate information to support decision making at a broader level and to support the direction of public policies regarding the use and conservation of forest resources. However, the use of inventories in large territorial areas challenges the search for new analysis methodologies. With the advancement of technologies for remote sensing forest monitoring, the use of geotechnologies becomes increasingly important for monitoring areas with planted or natural vegetation, as remote sensing provides detailed information on the structure and productivity of the forest. reducing the cost of field measurements and maximizing productivity. Thus, the present study aims to use remote sensing to analyze forest inventory data to estimate the efficiency of the sampling process in a forest area in the states of Pará and Amapá. The Radam Project's forest survey database will be correlated with field data from Embrapa's Permanent Plots Network. The 11 most explored species or genera with DBH ≥20 cm were selected. It is hoped to verify whether restricted area forest inventory sampling methodologies can estimate forest resources on a regional scale and whether advance planning of the points marked in the collection areas through the use of shared GIS is efficient for the management of quantitative data from the forest. forest resources of a forest area.
