The studies of pollen grains in bee products aim to determine the origin of the floral sources used by them in the elaboration of their products and can indicate a series of important plants for the bees' diet. In addition, they can contribute in different aspects, whether environmental or social. This work aimed to identify the botanical origin of honey and pollen loads collected by stingless bees of the species Scaptotrigona nigrohirta (Apidae: Meliponinini). The collections were carried out during the months of September 2020 to April 2021. The palynological preparation follows the standard methodology by the use of acetolysis, being identified and counted approximately 500 pollen grains per sample, from the pollen composition, the grain richness, by percentages and frequency classes. The results obtained with the S. nigrohirta bees and their collected resources indicated a similar vegetation in the different communities, which provides environments with high similarity of resources, allowing the creation of stingless bees in both communities and the development of meliponiculture. Regarding the generated data, we observed that S. nigrohirta expanded its pollen niche and the use of different pollen types was relatively homogeneous over the months for both communities, indicating that this species can be considered more generalist in the use of food resources in different áreas periods of the year.
