SUMMARY:

Plants have essential chemicals for their survival and, among them, essential organisms (EOs), which are complex volatile substances, being a product of the secondary metabolism of plants. These functions have important functions and functions, functions that can be different biological functions and different functions. One of the most popular plants is the genus Plectranthus and belongs to the family Lamiaceae, which has plants popularly called boldo, such as the species Plectranthus neochilus Schltr. These herbaceous aromatic plants have great medicinal, ornamental and economic importance, but mainly important active potential in their essentials. A presents a phytochemical study in the research of the essential product of the Neochilus species, analyzing the chemical potential in the evaluation of biological activities. The collection point for Plectranthus neochilus was selected from information on a small plantation in the municipality of Abaetetuba in the state of PA. The oil will be extracted by the method of an analysis distillation and steam distillation, manipulating distillation of the chemical composition of the essentials, using a Shiftmadzu QP-2010 plus system, still an analysis of the antioxidant potential of the essential modifications will be determined Its equivalence to the potent antioxidant according to trolox, also an assessment of antifungal and antibacterial activity. The biological oil of the oil will be essential against the larvae of Artemia salina (activity shrimp). Results will be expressed as a mean of percent deviation ± standard deviation of three trials and Student's t-test tests. A high yield is expected in obtaining the essential oil of the Plectranthus neochilus species, thus obtaining the composition of the extracts by prospecting the vegetative of the plant through the results of the yield, analysis of the chemistry, antioxidant, antimicrobial activity and preliminary toxicity of the study in question.
