SUMMARY:

In recent years, Brazil has seen a large increase in the cultivation area of dwarf green coconut under irrigation, due to the increase in industrialization with the installation of processing industries, and the increase in demand for coconut water. The coconut palm (Cocos nucifera L.) is a palm tree of worldwide distribution, adapted to tropical regions, and cultivated in more than ninety countries. In the Amazon region, the need for irrigation and fertigation to provide the productivity of the coconut crop has been increasingly objective. Thus, the present work aims to evaluate the efficiency of different percentages of fertilizers and the volume of water applied by irrigation and fertigation on the productivity and quality of the water of the dwarf green coconut. This study was conducted during the period from January 2022 to December 2023, at the farm reunited Sococo in the municipality of Santa Izabel do Pará. The experimental design used was a randomized block design (RBD), with a 3 x 4 factorial scheme, with three percentages of fertilizers (100 %, 200 % and 300 %) and four soil water tensions (15 kPa, 30 kPa, 45 kPa and 60 kPa). The irrigation management was done through tensiometry and soil water retention curve. The phenology of the dwarf green coconut, the quality analysis of the coconut water and the nutritional analysis of the plant through the foliar analysis were evaluated. The results obtained show that the use of localized irrigation and fertigation in the dwarf green coconut through microsprinklers, having critical tension associated with the highest percentage of fertilizers, promotes higher productivity and quality of the coconut water, as well as the efficiency of the use of water and fertilizers used in the cultivation of coconut in the municipality of Santa Izabel.
