SUMMARY:

Law 11.947/09, which establishes the National School Feeding Program (PNAE), brought important advances, particularly with regard to encouraging family production by establishing a requirement of at least 30% for food purchases from the family farming with Program resources. The state of Pará has a significant share of family farming in the state's production, representing 38.6% of the value of agricultural production and 85% of establishments, according to the 2017 IBGE Agricultural Census. Did the requirement of the Law stimulate family production in the state? To answer this question, the work will analyze family farming and the PNAE in the state of Pará, from 2010 to 2020, for this, it will make a systematic review of the Program's literature in that period, analyze the PNAE from management instruments and control of government public policies; to evaluate the institutional purchases of family farming for school meals and to analyze the economic impacts of credit policies and institutional markets for family farming in the state of Pará through a descriptive method based on documentary and bibliographic sources, with a quali-quantitative approach. The information will be sourced from official websites such as the portal of the GCU, FNDE, IBGE, Central Bank, among others. The information will be analyzed and synthesized through spreadsheets and application of quantitative methods from software that make it possible to obtain results and inferences that explain the proposed objectives.
