SUMMARY:

Recently the great challenge to be overcome is to maintain and grow the productivity of vegetables such as jambu giving up excess in the application of chemical products, and using natural processes and living organisms that stimulate plant production. Thus, this work aims to evaluate the promotion of jambu crascation on growth, biomass accumulation, and physiological responses of plants inoculated with entomopathogenic fungi in a covered and uncovered planting system in rainy and dry periods. The experiment was conducted in the area of the Association of producers and hortifrutigranjeiros of Gleba do Guajará -APHA. Two experiments were conducted simultaneously in field conditions, in suspended covered and uncovered beds, in two epochs, rainy (March) and dry (September) periods. The experiment was carried out in randomized blocks in a plot divided into 27x30cm and subdivided into 13.5x10cm, in a factorial scheme (6 x 2), with six inoculants isolated from Beauveria bassiana, Isaria sp, Trichoderma asperelium (MIX UFRA T06, UFRA T09, UFRA T12, UFRA T52), Application of Dipel (Bacillus thuringiensis) and control with water in two types of suspended beds (covered and not covered), with five repetitions, being evaluated 8 plants per repetition. Biometrics and biomass, gas exchange and chlorophyll data were examined by the F test. (P ≤ 0.05). According to the results obtained in relation to the comparison of covered and non-covered planting systems of jambu plants inoculated with fungal isolates at 25 days in the rainy season, for all the evaluated growth parameters there was a significant difference between the systems, where the system covered appears with an increase in most of the variables evaluated, in relation to the non-covered system. Where the best results were obtained by inoculation of M. anisopliae, compared to the negative control and the positive control (T. asperelium and Dipel), these results were evidenced for all parameters evaluated, in both systems tested (covered and uncovered) in the rainy season, followed by Beauveria bassiana. In the dry period, there was a significant difference for all variables (p<0.05). When comparing the planting systems, the covered system showed better results in almost all variables. Where the best results were in plants inoculated with M. anisopliae compared to positive and negative controls for almost all parameters evaluated. Thus, with the results of the research, it is concluded that the best planting system is the covered crop both in the rainy season and in the dry season and that the fungi M. anisopliae and B. bassiana promote the growth of jambu plants mainly in the rainy season of planting. Emphasizing the performance of M. anisopliae, which presented the best responses for all parameters in the rainy season and in almost all of them in the dry season.
