SUMMARY:

The supply of horticultural products in the city of Belém-Pará is carried out through the availability of regional products that enter, mainly, through the ports administered by the Municipality of Belém (PMB), and products imported from other regions through a CEASA-PA. Although the literature highlights this distribution flow for the wholesale market of fruit and vegetables in Pará, more specifically for the city of Belém, more common information and analyzes on the functioning of warehouses managed by the Municipality of Belém (PMB) were not identified. A survey will analyze the participation and dynamics of this market managed by the PMB regarding the supply of fairs and other complements in the municipality, analyzing its supply structure, identifying the negative and positive points of these marketing channels, contributing to the reorganization in the social, political and local economic With this, the study will be structured in three chapters, the first defined as “Brazilian markets and fairs: a systematic review of the literature”, which aims to evaluate a scientific production related to aspects of governance, organizations and infrastructure in spaces. The survey will take place in five databases, namely: Scopus, Web of Science, scielo, Capes Journal Portal and Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations - BDTD, for studies from 1990 to 2021. The second chapter “Marketing of Fresh and Vegetable Products in the RMB Wholesale Market ”, will discuss the origin, seasonality, price variation, distribution logistics, volume and various products sold, through secondary data collected with the Economy Secretariat of the Municipality of Belém (SECON), for the period 2000 to 2020 , using seasonal analysis of time series. And the third chapter “Supply of Regional Fruit and Vegetables in the Municipality of Belém: Problems and Potentials”, proposes to strengthen the supply of the region through regional production and the relationships between the agents involved, developing a role with key actors and in locus in the ports, in addition to the use of the Swot matrix tool, gathering information from the internal and external environment in view of the studied scenario.
