SUMMARY:

The Brazilian agribusiness has played a fundamental role in the country's growth and development, with significant leaps in production and job creation. Women are increasingly inserted in agribusiness and have stood out for their management and leadership skills. The increasing participation of women bringssignificant contributions to innovation, employment and wealth creation. They are every day, participating in leadership positions and decision-making, andfor this, they are increasingly qualifying themselves, and worrying about themes that previously were only for the male universe, such as family succession and the social environment in which they are inserted. The immediate region of Paragominas has established itself as the largest agribusiness center in Pará, being among the 100 largest agricultural financial centers in the country. Soon, cConsidering the importance of female entrepreneurship and the increasingly frequent presence of rural landowners in the field, this thesis aims to propose a model, that allows characterizing the entrepreneurial behavior of these rural managers, in terms of profile, and that makes it possible to relate such profiles with the performances of rural properties managed by women. To fulfill these objectives,Three chapters will be developed: In the first, theThe objective will be to carry out a systematic review of the literature on women entrepreneurs in Brazilian agribusiness, examining research gaps and trends in the main databases. The analysis (survey) will consist of identifying the number of articles published on female entrepreneurship in agribusiness in Brazil in the main journals found in the Web of Science, Scielo and Scopus databases, established from 2000 to 2021, identifying the articles that will serve as basis for the Thesis. In addition to assessing the growth of the field in recent years and presenting future research directions. In chapter two, field research will be carried out with students of agricultural science courses at public universities located in the immediate region of Paragominas, seeking to identify, what are the professional interests (motivation) of these students, as well as identifying whether they have an entrepreneurial profile and finally if they are inserted in some way in the agro (succession) or if they intend to break into the field of agribusiness. In chapter three, based on already validated models, in terms of entrepreneurial profile assessment, a model will be built that can be consistent with the peculiarities of the rural environment, identifying the entrepreneurial profile of women who work in agribusiness in the immediate region of Paragominas, and relate such profiles with the performance of the properties managed by them. The selection will be based on two main criteria.
