SUMMARY:

The political orientations on rural technical education have shown the need to improve the quality of this education model in Brazil, where the education policies formulated and implemented for the rural environment have been marked by discontinuous actions and that do not observe the differentiating characteristics between rural and urban. The objective of this work is to analyze the perceptions and trajectories of young graduates of technical courses in the area of agrarian sciences offered in institutions located in the municipality of Cametá, Northeast of Pará. The research will involve documentary analysis from the consultation of pedagogical projects of technical courses (PPCs) offered in institutions based in Cametá and interviews with the managers of these institutions. Interviews will also be conducted with a sample of graduates, in order to evaluate their trajectories and perceptions regarding the training received and the labor market in rural areas. The results of this research will be important as a support for the improvement of rural technical education policy and for reflections on the effectiveness of this educational model.
